Britney Spears TV Career

Britney Spears first made a cameo appearance as a receptionist on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother". Britney’s appearance was a draw for CBS who reported an audience of 10.8 million viewers, compared with the show’s usual 8 or so million viewers. Her May 12 appearance expands her role as Abby, the receptionist, whose love interest is Ted played by Josh Radnor.  In an effort to get Ted to fall in love with her, Abby and mutual friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) concoct a scheme to pretend to be a couple to spark Ted’s, jealousy.  The scene, shot in a bed, has Britney and Neil Patrick talking about the “love triangle”.

Some will remember Britney Spears on a 2006 episode of Will and Grace.  Since the folks at CBS seem ready to sign Britney for a third appearance, could this be the makings of a new branch in Britney’s career tree?

Adnan had a three-month relationship with the mother-of-two at the height of her alleged nervous breakdown earlier this year.

The sex tape was supposedly shot while the couple holidayed in Mexico in January.
X-rated footage of Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline reportedly exists but has never been released to the public.
